Childrens |
| Notes and Comments It is my pleasure to present my oldest work of fiction that is still in existence. This may even be my oldest work of fiction ever written. As a special feature I'm including the original handwritten text of the story.
What I find most interesting about this story is that it shows that I had a love for video games at a very young age. Readers may be interested to know that this story predates my ownership of a video game console, but like all children of the 80s I knew who Mario was, and at least enough about the video game to write a story, albeit a short one. This story also shows an early insensitivity to death.
Being that most of my works of fiction from my Elementary School days have been lost or destroyed, I am quite pleased that this work survived for my readers to enjoy. |
Comedy |
| Christian Cop |
April 2000 |
Comedy, Dark Comedy |
| Notes and Comments This is basically the story of a Christian cop, or in other words, a religious cop. Don't take it seriously though, it's not a crime drama.
A friend of mine was planning on making short film for one of his classes. I told him I wanted to write the screenplay, so I wrote this script. Ever since then I wanted to get this film made, but to be honest at this point I'd have to direct the film too, because I know exactly how I want the film to look.
This screenplay is quite entertaining. It's a comedy, and very ironic. It's definitely farce. Pretty much everyone that's read it has said that it's funny. I'd still like to see this made into a short film, and not a crappy YouTube film. |
| Tale of a Plane Wreck |
2001 |
Comedy, Literary |
| Notes and Comments The tale of four survivors of a plane wreck.
This was written as part of a school project associated with Golding's Lord of the Flies. The assignment was a group project to create an original tale of survival similar to that in Golding's novel. The characters were created by each member of the group, but I personally took the liberty of writing the tale.
I see this story as pulp fiction. Being that it is one of my earlier works, it is certainly not my best, but even today I find the tale entertaining, and I hope that my readers find it interesting as well. |

| Don't Get Caught in the Girls Locker Room 2 |
2004 |
Dark Comedy |
| Notes and Comments This is an unauthorized sequel to Todd Strasser's Don't Get Caught in the Girls Locker Room. It is the continued story of Kyle and Dusty in their high school years. Unlike the original story this contains adult themes.
I happened to pick up a copy of the original novel in a thrift store, and though I don't normally read juvenile literature, I had to know what this story could possibly be about. So I read it. I was disappointed, however, by the lack of adult themes or anything else that might have been considered risque. Not that I expected any of that from a Scholastic novel.
In response, however, I wanted to create a story featuring the same characters, but with adult themes. This story is pretty mild, but it is closer to what I thought a novel entitled Don't Get Caught in the Girls Locker Room should be about. |
